Satsuma Homes for sale

Satsuma, AL was formerly known as Fig Tree Island.  In 1915, the City was named after the Satsuma orange.  The Satsuma orange was a gift from Meiji, Japan and was cultivated and grown in Alabama in 1878.  Satsuma separated from the Mobile County Public School System in 2012 to create the Satsuma City School System.  It is served by Two Schools:

Robert E. Lee Elementary (K-5) and Satsuma High School (7-12)
