Silverhill, AL is a small town in Central Baldwin County. It is tucked away for a small town feel, but it is a little over a half hour drive to the Beaches of Gulf Shores. In Silverhill, you can ride the Wales West Light Railway, which was built to simulate a Welsh narrow gauge railway. It is there that the Railway gets its name, as there are still some narrow gauge railways used in Wales in Great Britain. This is an especially popular destination for field trips, RVs, and fans of Bluegrass music.
